A striation of any length is a sure sign of glacial activity in the past. A striation is formed when a glacier scrapes moraine (load) against the rock face, forming a mark known as a striation. The mark shows that the area was once dominated by glacial activity.
Striation is typically erosional. Striations are long, narrow lines or grooves on a rock surface caused by the movement of a glacier, which acts as a powerful scouring tool that can scrape and polish the bedrock beneath it as it flows.
Raleigh waves are surface waves that occur in many types of media, such as water and the Earth's crust. They cause the ground to roll up and down in a wave-like motion during an earthquake. Long waves, or long-period ocean waves, are also surface waves that have longer wavelengths and occur in the ocean due to forces such as gravity and wind.
Striations would most likely form on the surface of the bedrock under the glacial ice. Striations are caused by the movement of large rocks embedded in the base of a glacier scraping across the bedrock, resulting in long, parallel grooves being carved into the bedrock surface.
A long-term rise in the average surface temperature would lead to ocean warming, impacting marine ecosystems by disrupting habitats, altering species distributions, and potentially causing coral bleaching and other negative consequences. This warming could also contribute to sea level rise due to thermal expansion of water and the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers.
A long hole in the ground used to bring water to the surface is called a well. Wells are typically constructed by digging or drilling deep into the earth's surface until reaching underground water sources, allowing access to water for various purposes such as drinking, irrigation, and industrial use.

I would suspect that the rock may have been scratched by a sharp object or dragged by something with enough force to leave a mark. The scratches could also be the result of natural weathering or geological processes over time.
Striations are long, thin lines in the surface of something, usually multiple, and commonly all roughly or exactly parallel to each other. Picture dragging a stiff bristled floor broom across wet concrete - the marks it leaves behind are striations.
It wouldn't survive the trip to the sun's surface. It would be burned up long before it got there. If you "teleported" it onto the sun's surface it would be instantly vaporized.
The daddy long legs relies on the water's surface tension.
water erosion. i did the same test 12/14/12
An officer can coach a suspect as to what to write in a voluntary statement, as long as the statement is the words of the suspect. The officer cannot force the suspect to write anything that is not the suspect's words
You would use a radioactive isotope with a long half life. Good luck!
The cube would have a total surface area of 24 Sq. Ft.
Your body would be disintegrated by the heat long before you reached the surface of the sun.
All their lives, I suspect.
I really don't know, why would you want to know though? I would suspect low doses over a long period of time or high doses at varying amount if time.
