Volcanoes form along convergent boundaries known as subduction zones. Convergent boundaries form where oceanic lithosphere descends beneath continental crust. When the two plates collide convergence occurs, while volcanoes form along the zone.

Anywhere you find volcanic activities but usally is on plate boundaries where you find subduction of one plate into another. Usually Continent-Oceanic convergence. the oceanic sink below the continent because the continental plates are less denser than the oceanic plate. you can also find igneous rocks on oceanic-oceanic plates where the form island arc.
The most common extrusive igneous rock is basalt, composing the bulk of the oceanic plates.

Earthquakes are mostly found at the edges of plates because that is the area of which the plates collide in different ways resulting in earthquakes and volcanoes.
i didn't know either, It is definatly either mountains or volcanoes, but it is difficult to dissifer which one. I am doing this for my Yr9 geography project on Boundarys and i still havn't found the answer. sorry.
Volcanoes form when tectonic plates move on the surface of the earth. It occurs at transform plate boundaries. Tectonic plates are always moving slowly, but when an oceanic plate converges with a continental plate, it creates a Subduction zone known where volcanoes are found.
Igneous rocks can commonly be found near volcanoes. They are made when lava is cooled and becomes a solid. The oceanic plates are mostly made of igneous rock.
Volcanoes are only found on the edge of tectonic plates & they can also be found on cracks in the tectonic plates which is un-common
