Life first evolved when God created animals during creation. Human life began shortly thereafter on the sixth day. Ever since then, men have been born and living just as they did when the earth began

Answer:
The Earth itself formed some 4.5 billion years ago. Less than 700 million years after that (3.8 billion years ago) the first microbial life was present in the Earth's water. Evolution began at the same time as these primitive life forms took advantage of the specific environments they were best suited for.

Both of these answers are good, but they are based on the Evolution Theory and the Christian's way of believing. Nobody has a real answer for this question, because our little archeologists' machines can't get a good read on anything that far back in history. You have asked a question that even scientists can't directly answer.
