As of the morning of April 9, 2012 the last confirmed tornado was an EF0 near Naples, Florida on April 6. However, several tornadoes were reported in central Texas on April 7 but have yet to be surveyed and confirmed.

The latest town to be devastated is Springfield, Massachusetts which was recently hit by an EF3 tornado that killed 3 and injured about 200. However, this tornado season (2011) is not our deadliest. In 2011 the U.S. has had 553 tornado fatalities. This takes second place to the 794 tornado deaths in 1925.
Tornadoes do not get names. The last confirmed tornado, as of December 1, 2012 was on November 28 in southern Italy.
The last known killer tornado, as of October 15, 2012 was an F2 in Wycinki, Poland that killed person.

As of October 13, 2014 the last known tornado was on October 10 near Centerville, Tennessee. it was rated EF1. More tornadoes are expected today.
As of February 8, 2012 the most recent tornado to be reported (and confirmed in this case) was an EF1 near De Ridder, Louisiana on February 4.
