Star Rose Quartz is found in many locations in the United States. The most prevalent source is the Black Hills of South Dakota. It is also found in Maine.
Only if silica sand has found its way into them. Quartz does form in watery solutions, but at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, and at very high pressures. So formation in the body would be unlikely. I strongly doubt that the body could absorb quartz in crystal form from food or drink and accumulate it in the eyes. I would expect quarts crystals in the eye to play havoc with vision as it would refract light in many directions, making it impossible to focus. Crystals do form in the body, kidney stones for instance, but they are calciferous, and do not require high temperatures or pressures.
Actually silica or silica sand is what is mined since silica is made into quartz crystals by putting them under high heat and pressure.Arizona is the principle source of scilica in the USA.There are only five companies that make Quartz crystals in the USA:Coleman Quartz Inc., Jessieville, ARSawyer Research Products Inc. of Eastlake, OHThermo Dynamics Corp. of Merriam, KSMotorola Inc. of Chicago, ILP. R. Hoffman Material Processing Co. of Carlisle, PA.
Silicon is a marvelously abundant element, and it is most often found as an oxide. Many rocks are silicates, which are silicon oxides with a bit of metal thrown in. Sand us usually silicon oxides.
Many planets around each star reflect the star's light. For example think about Earth's orbit around the sun, a big star
Spruce Pine, NCThe Spruce Pine Mining District is a swath of the valley of the North Toe River in northwestern North Carolina that is home to one of the richest deposits of gems and minerals in the world. Mined for its mica, kaolin, quartz and feldspar, the District provides over 90% of raw materials used in plumbing fixtures. Spruce Pine quartz is used in the manufacture of silicon chips.

Washington State is known for them.
Quartz is found in many countries around the world, including Brazil, the United States, Russia, and Madagascar. It is a common mineral that can be found in various geological formations and environments globally.
The emo star is actual a nautical star. The nautical star is usually seen as a tattoo representing membership in the US Navy or Marine Corp. The symbol represents the five pointed star of the US flag and the red/black color pattern represents the compass rose found on old nautical maps. I do not understand why emo's get the tattoo or what it means to them.
Quartz is everywhere. Every white grain of sand is quartz.
Quarts are a liquid measurement. 1 US Quart is equal to 32 US ounces. If you are looking for "Quartz" (the semi-precious stone) please post another question.
There seem to be two: Quartz Hill was in Colorado and Crystal City was also in Colorado.
I know that it was ages ago that you asked your question, but I just stumbled across Pink Fiord on eBay and wondered the same thing. I found this on a website: Those of us who love Scottish jewelry are particularly fond of the quartz gemstones, for so many examples are set with the best-known of the quartzes, amethyst and citrine, both native to Scotland. In the past, when we thought of pink quartz, we thought of the opaque rose quartz. Now from Norway comes this beautiful transparent light pink quartz, known as Pink Fjord. Hope that helps--yet another beautiful quartz!
