When typhoons (formed by Low Pressure Areas surrounding the country) are starting to develop, here's what happens:
The upper-level winds, a.k.a. shears are winds that stop LPAs from developing. When they get weaker, the LPA moves inner and beats the shears.
Afterwards, the LPA turns into a depression if it has strong circulation and a good amount of thunderstorms that stay together for a long time enough.
Then, as the depression goes stronger, it later turns to be a storm then a typhoon.
This is the DST.

Storm
Typhoon.
Typhoons leave your area then transfers to the next. However, it wears out once the time comes that the typhoon gets a weaker circulation. Then the upper-level winds destroy it.
Hope I helped. :)
Typhoons do not originate from countries or national states. Typhoons are natural meteorological phenomena that originate from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Atlantic storms are known as hurricanes, while Pacific ones are commonly called typhoons.
Typhoons form when warm, moist air over the ocean rises and cools, creating a low-pressure system. As the air continues to rise and spin, it gathers strength from the warm ocean water. The rotating winds can develop into a powerful storm system known as a typhoon.
Typhoons are caused by warm ocean waters, typically in the Pacific Ocean, which fuel the storm's strength and development. The Earth's rotation also plays a role in the formation of typhoons, as it creates the spin necessary for a storm to develop into a typhoon. Climate change is also believed to be a contributing factor in the increasing frequency and intensity of typhoons.
Typhoons typically form over warm ocean waters in the western Pacific Ocean, near the equator. They can develop throughout the year but are most common during the summer and early autumn.

Typhoons are stronger in summer as the clouds grow quickly. They develop quickly if the water in the sea or ocean is hot enough. E.G=Cyclone Giri.Depression in day 1.Category 4 in day 2.
if your talkng about the pacific ocean near California then its hurricnes if its western pacific then its typhoons
Yes, the Philippines is prone to both typhoons and earthquakes. The country is situated in a region known as the Pacific Ring of Fire, where earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are common. It is also in the path of typhoons that develop in the western Pacific Ocean, leading to frequent severe weather events.
Typhoons begin when a wave starts to develop. It goes along with the rotation of the Earth and becomes a typhoon when the system begins to rotate.

Typhoons cannot be prevented.
No, typhoons are a southeast Asia phenomena.
Typhoons do hit land.

Cyclones occur in a variety of areas around the world. "Cyclone" is the generic term for cyclones, typhoons and hurricanes. Cyclones develop in the warm seas near the equator, but do not cross the equator. Those in the southern hemisphere are usually known as cyclones, but cyclones in the China Sea region are often called typhoons, whilst those in the Americas and the Atlantic Ocean are known as hurricanes.
Typhoons that hit the Philippines typically originate in the western North Pacific Ocean, forming over warm ocean waters. They develop from tropical disturbances into tropical depressions, storms, and eventually typhoons. They commonly follow a westward track towards the Philippines before either recurving or making landfall on the islands.
