Hurricane Agnes was a significant hurricane that hit the United States in 1972, causing widespread flooding and damage. While it was a significant storm, it is not considered the worst hurricane in history. The title of "worst hurricane" can vary depending on different factors such as the amount of damage caused, number of casualties, and other impacts.
A sudden drop in temperature, an increase in wind speed, or the development of dark clouds can be signs that the weather may change for the worse, potentially leading to storms or severe weather conditions. Paying attention to these indicators can help prepare for any upcoming adverse weather.
The Florida Panhandle and the far southern tip of Florida, including the Florida Keys, are less likely to be directly hit by hurricanes compared to other parts of the state. However, it's important to note that hurricanes can potentially impact any part of Florida due to its geography and proximity to tropical waters.
Not necessarily. Cloud movement from east to west can be influenced by various factors, such as prevailing winds or the position of weather systems. I would say whenever the weather is at its absolute worst where you live would be the best time, because the weather doesn't change much in the Bahamas, except if you go in the fall, through about mid-November, there is always the possibility of getting caught in a hurricane. So go in January. August is hot in Florida and you have to go to Florida to go the the Bahamas on a cruise.
Lambeau Field has notoriously cold weather.
