Sodium is more metallic than Aluminium because valency of Sodium is 1 i.e Sodium has only one electron in the outermost shell and therefore has a higher tendency to lose electron. While valency of Aluminium is 3 i.e Aluminium has 3 electrons in the outermost shell so it will take time to loose its 3 electrons . Hence Sodium is More Metallic.

Al is more metallic because Al has valency +3 and Li,Na has valency +1,Mg has valency +2.the element with great valency will have strong mettalic bond and will more mettalic.
