In the northern hemisphere the date of the summer solstice ranges from June 19 to June 23, and the date of the autumnal equinox ranges from September 21 to September 24. In the southern hemisphere the date of the summer solstice ranges from December 20 to December 23, and the date of the autumnal equinox ranges from March 19 to March 22.
