Non-Renewable resources once used gets exhausted for ever. These are not recycled.e.g. Coal, petroleum.
It really depends on the time scale you are considering. Oil is renewable over millions of years but we rightfully do not look at it that way. We use the term renewable in the context that we will be able to replace what we use at a rate that equals our consumption thereby never running out. So in that sense all our fossil fuels are considered non-renewable; natural gas, coal, oil.
Oil, Uranium, Natural Gas, and Propane to name a few.
Nuclear energy derived from uranium in a nonrenewable resource, but not a fossil fuel
Petroleum (APEX 2022 5.1.2)
