It is decreasing so fast because deforestation is occurring, which means that humans are cutting down trees in the rain forest which decreases the amount of trees and affects animal's Eco-system! Another reason is because goods are becoming scarce and businesses are chopping down more trees to make more profit so their companies remain active.

Why arent there tropical rainforests in Europe?

Europe's climate is not conducive to supporting tropical rainforests due to its higher latitudes and cooler temperatures. Tropical rainforests require high temperatures and consistent rainfall throughout the year, which Europe generally lacks.
