charcoal & salt have low resistivity it is easy path to capture current towards earth.
1. Materials needed: (1.25 m) copper road , salt and coal . 2. How to make to GI earth pit : a. Dig a hall in the dirt ground at least for 1m depth. b. Install a PVC pipe of 1m length and 10 cm width inside this pit. c. Install the copper road in the middle of the PVC pipe and start to make layers of 10 cm in sequence of salt once and coal till the PVC pipe is filled you must keep the road tip over the ground at least for 10 cm so you could get connection to your ground system. d. When you get done of the mix layers of the salt and coal.. you need to take the PVC pipe off to get contact between the system and the ground. e. You could joint the end tip of the copper road to the facility earth system. And then you will get a good earthing system .. for large facilities with high load consuming power you could make 3 pits the same way with 3 copper roads joint them as triangle by a copper cable and use any one of the 3 points as earth main point for the system .. Hope I could Help somebody with this .. Electric Eng. Hussein K. Hasson Baghdad , Iraq
You would use a geological map, which displays the types and ages of rocks on the Earth's surface. This map would help you locate the layer of coal as it shows the distribution of different rock types, including coal-bearing formations, allowing you to identify the specific location of the coal layer.
Implementing carbon capture and storage technology to reduce emissions, increasing energy efficiency in coal-fired power plants, and promoting renewable energy sources as alternative to coal can help extend Earth's coal supply. Additionally, investing in research and development to find cleaner and more sustainable ways to use coal can also contribute to making the supply last longer.
Coal mining involves using specialized machines and equipment to extract coal deposits from under the Earth's surface. Miners use drills, explosives, and other tools to access coal seams, which are then cut and removed using large machinery. The extracted coal is then transported to the surface for processing and distribution.
The method used to extract shallow deposits of coal from the earth is surface mining, specifically using methods like strip mining and open-pit mining. These methods involve removing the overlying vegetation, soil, and rock to access the coal seams underneath, making it easier and more cost-effective to extract the coal.
We use earth pits for by-passing the high voltages from the lightning rod in case of thunder strikes.. After digging earth pits, salt(na-cl) & charcoal.....salt increases conductivity, whereas charcoal decreases conductivity......so we use charcoal

Yes, coal miners work in coal mines to extract coal from the ground. They use heavy equipment to dig tunnels and remove coal from deposits in the earth.
Petroleum, coal, and methane.
Coal miners use a pick axe to break up the coal seams and remove the coal from the earth. The pick axe allows them to chip away at the coal and break it into manageable pieces for extraction.
The coal mines dig up the coal from under the earth. The coal is then sold to whoever wants it. Some industries use coal for power. Coal-fired power stations are a huge buyer of coal. They burn the coal to heat water and use the steam to turn turbines which produce electricity. This electricity is then passed on to Energy Companies who sell the power to us.

Surface mining can be used when the coal is buried less than 200 feet underground. ... is buried deep within the earth. Some underground ... mine shafts to run machines that dig out the coal. ... In one place, coal is crushed, mixed with water, ... industries use coal, too. Paper, brick, limestone, and
Some bad things about coal can be it pollutes the earth badly, it could cost us a lot of money if we use too much of it, and releases a lot of carbon dioxide in the earth which is bad.
Absoluetely not! I don't owe opponents sweet smelling pits. My pits smell like pits are supposed to!
Coal is typically mined from underground or surface mines using equipment like excavators, bulldozers, and coal-cutting machines. Mining companies use these tools to extract coal from seams in the earth's surface.
