Extreme weathers could happen due to warming of earth s surface. This may be due to position of the earth in its orbit.when its near to sun s orbit,it receives much greater radiation and hence due to the absorption of large amounts of heat, surface gets heated up and temperature rises.
Apart from this, weather conditions get changed due global warming also. due to which, there will be at least 2 degrees rise in temperature.
Weather reporting abilities are better then what was available 100 years ago. From what we are able to determine, Hurricanes are less frequent then they were. The warmest year on record was a decade ago and before that it was before WW2 (1938).
We have only collected weather data for a very short time. Climate change is still uncertain. Some are now suggesting that the planet is cooling.
Extreme weather has always occurred. Our ability to discuss it in the past decade has grown.
because it does
Yes, a typhoon is an example of extreme weather.
Freak Weather Conditions (or Extreme Weather Conditions) are when weather conditions that are unusually severe occur. It could also apply to weather conditions that are unusual for the part of the world they occur in, or the time of year they occur at. For example, a large tornado that causes a lot of damage would be a Freak Weather Condition for England, because we don't tend to get many tornadoes here, and those that we do get rarely get more severe than an F2.
Extreme weather includes: * Tornadoes * Earthquakes * Hurricanes * Hailstorms * Snowstorms * Thunderstorms * Floods (Flash Floods usually come from Thunderstorms so it is cause and effect) * Lightning * Heavy, Damaging Wind
Today's extreme weather is caused primarily by a rise in greenhouse gases. The natural weather cycles, combined with warmer temperatures cause more extreme weather.
There is not a specific time when weather changes occur except for the changing of the seasons.

One weather phenomenon which will always occur when flying across a front is wind direction change. This turbulence can range from mild to extreme.
Extreme weather happens every where in the world when the weather gets bad.
Submarines are not affected by extreme weather.

Well, 'extreme weather conditions' already occur in North America... from snow blizzards and below zero temps... to droughts and over 100 degree temps. Add to that tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding... North America has quite variable weather patterns and weather occurrences.
Extreme weather is a result from climate changes by the rising temperatures. Extreme weather can cause loss of human life or destruction.
