May be my answer is not perfect but it is usually due to specific heat of water and land. The sand gets much hot than land in summer days and is too much cold at night it is due to specific heat of sand :)
During the summer in one (Northern/Southern) hemisphere of the globe, the other is in winter. As such, a hot summer day is a localized event on the scale of the globe.
Also, the effect of evaporation of water is counteracted by rain elsewhere on the globe. For the oceans, this leads to a stable water level, tidal forces notwithstanding.
Also, for rivers and lakes, the hot day still does not put enough energy into rivers to cause evaporation needed to cause the river to fully dry. Given a drought, a lake can eventually dry up due to evaporation.
Water has a higher specific heat capacity. It will take more heat to raise it'stemperature compared to land.
because the specific heat of the water is higher than that of land's.

On a hot summer day, the vapourcoming out of the soil reflect the sunlightand the air above the soil seems toshimmer. This is why the air above the land seems to shimmer.

Summer. The first day of summer is the longest day of the year. The first day of winter is the shortest day of the year.
No, not necessarily. It is the longest day and it is when the solar declination is greatest, however that does not necessarily make it the hottest day. The hottest time of year is typically a month or two after the solstice after the land, and especially water, has heated enough to heat the air above it the most.
Rain water evaporates more on a summer day.

Sea breezes occur during hot, summer days because of the unequal heating rates of land and water. During the day, the land surface heats up faster than the water surface. Therefore, the air above the land is warmer than the air above the ocean. Now, recall that warmer air is lighter than cooler air.
8 glasses a day or more
You take regular bath every day. And drink cold water. Dont apply cream during hot summer.
Water early in the day during the summer and water DEEP so that the plants have sufficient moisture during the hottest time of the day.
"The sun shines most brightly on a clear summer's day." Need another one?
If you leave a bowl of water outside on a hot summer day, it will evaporate. Then you would just have an empty bowl. During evaporation, the water "goes into" the air. When it rains and the weather is warm, the water that evaporates into the air can create humidity.
The land (or garden) of Eden is present day Iraq.

because a grove absorbs heat quicker than the beach, plus the water cools the sand at the beach.
