Oxygen is produced by other oranisms, including plant life. Although it may seem odd we don't run out of air when there's so many creatures breathing, think of all the plants that are taking our carbon dioxide and giving us oxygen! It's a cycle.
Actually it does. Well, sort of. The gravitational pull of the Earth draws air molecules towards its centre. That is why the air gets thinner as altitude increases.
We breathe out carbon dioxide that the plants breathe. The plants turn the carbon dioxide into oxygen which we can breathe in and turn into carbon dioxide again.
The force of gravity pulling the oxygen towards the earth is greater than the outwards movement of the atoms.
Same reason as why we don't go floating into space - our atmosphere is held by the earth's gravity.
Air stays, because the gravity of the earth keeps in on the earth
Obviously the Earth has an atmosphere, and the moon also has one, although it is weaker and does not contain oxygen.
If we cut down all the tree's it could. Tree's recycle carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen.
it doesnt
The oxygen isn't "used by the earth"; it is recycled by organisms. The total amount of oxygen on planet Earth remains more or less constant.
Oxygen is the most abundant element in Earth's crust.
Obviously the Earth has an atmosphere, and the moon also has one, although it is weaker and does not contain oxygen.
yes. In order for the engine to run, it needs both O2 and gas. If it doesnt get one or the other, it wont run
A relatively thin band of gasses surrounds Earth. This is the atmosphere. 78% of Earth's atmosphere is Nitrogen and 21% is Oxygen. The remaining 1%, known as "trace gases", consists of argon, CO2, water vapor, hydrogen, helium, methane, neon, etc.
It is unlikely the Earth will run out of oxygen as long as there is an adequate amount of plant life and animals. Animals produce oxygen from the CO2 animals emit and vice versa.
It doesnt run out of water because this whole earth is surrounded by water and when the water drains, it rains to full up again so therefore we should never run out of water
If we cut down all the tree's it could. Tree's recycle carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen.
Oxygen on earth has not run out because green plants release oxygen into the air by a process called photosynthesis. Photosynthesis offsets oxygen consumption by other processes such as respiration, combustion, oxidation, etc. This is why protecting greenspaces is vital; without them the earth's oxygen would eventually be depleted.
it doesnt
1 year
The moon has no oxygen because it has no atmosphere.
no it doesnt even run because it doesnt have legs HAHA!! :)
Oxygen is main gas of earth. If there is no oxygen in the earth all the life in the earth should die.
