Fossil fuels normally emit large amounts of CO2 and this has a negative effect on the environment. These emissions cause global warming which will eventually make life unbearable.
They are bad because the fuels output gets clogged in the atmosphere, and with convection it heats up earth (Global Warming/Greenhouse Effect!)

Why is acrylic bad for the environment?

Acrylic is bad for the environment because it is a type of plastic made from non-renewable resources such as petroleum. When acrylic products are disposed of, they do not biodegrade easily and can release harmful chemicals into the environment. Additionally, the manufacturing process of acrylic can generate greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants.

Why is deforestation bad for climate change and what are the consequences of it on the environment?

Deforestation is bad for climate change because trees absorb carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming. When trees are cut down, this carbon is released back into the atmosphere, exacerbating climate change. The consequences of deforestation on the environment include loss of biodiversity, disruption of ecosystems, soil erosion, and increased greenhouse gas emissions, leading to further climate change.

What are the causes of bad environment?

Causes of a bad environment can include pollution from various sources such as industrial activities, vehicle emissions, improper waste disposal, deforestation, and climate change. Overconsumption of natural resources, habitat destruction, and lack of environmental regulations can also contribute to a degraded environment.

Are fossil fuels good or bad for the environment?

Fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) release carbon dioxide, the greenhouse gas largely responsible for causing global warming. They are also responsible for acid rain through their emissions of sulphur and nitrous dioxides. Acid rain damages soil and trees, lakes and fish populations as well as corroding metal and buildings. They also cause air pollution, the haze that is common over big cities, causing asthma and breathing difficulties. So, yes, fossil fuels are bad for the environment.

Which gas is produced when burning sulfur?

When burning sulfur, sulfur dioxide gas is produced. This gas has a strong odor similar to burnt matches and can be harmful to human health and the environment.

Does natural gas do something bad to our environment?

Natural gas is a fossil fuel. When it is burnt it releases carbon dioxide emissions that are building up in the atmosphere and causing global warming. This is bad for our environment in many ways.

Are old cars better than new cars for the environment?

No. some of the gas is not completely burned inside the engine and it lets it out into the atmosphere. Plus they can have bad mpg which is bad because your using more gas.

Are gas hydrates bad for the environment?

No. Gas hydrates are a natural part of the environment. The play an important role in moderating the way in which carbon is cycled between sediment, oceans, and the atmosphere. But like any part of the environment, disruption of their natural state/behavior can create imbalances for which nature is "prepared". However, given where hydrates are, such unnatural disruptions are extremely unlikely

they help you get from place to place and travel but it's bad for the environment because of the gas that comes out of it

How are fossil fuels bad for the environment and for people?

Bad for the environment:Burning fossil fuels releases the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide. This build up of greenhouse gases is causing global warming and climate change.Bad for people:People have to live in this environment.

Environmentally friendly gas vs. charcoal barbecue grill?

According to the research that I have done, it is stated that the gas grill is more environmentally friendly and has less impact on the environment. The impact of the charcoal grill isn't extremely bad for the environment, but it is said that gas grills are more eco friendly.

What does Sulphur dioxide causes the environment?

Sulfur dioxide is an acidic gas. It may influence global warming and it causes acid rains.
