Well, it isn't good, but the reason why is because that's where un-mined metals, are.
In the Amazon rainforest, people work in various roles such as farming, logging, mining, tourism, and conservation. Indigenous communities also engage in traditional activities like hunting, fishing, and gathering. Additionally, there are opportunities for scientific research, education, and environmental protection projects in the region.
Tourism in the rainforest can have both positive and negative impacts. It can provide economic benefits to local communities, contribute to conservation efforts, and raise awareness about the importance of rainforest ecosystems. However, if not managed responsibly, tourism can lead to deforestation, habitat degradation, and disruption of local cultures. Balancing the economic benefits with the conservation of the rainforest is key to sustainable tourism practices.
The rainforest is a good place to live because it provides a diverse range of resources, such as food, water, and shelter. The abundance of plant and animal species also offers many opportunities for symbiotic relationships and interconnected ecosystems. The dense plant cover provides protection from predators and harsh weather conditions.
Some good websites for information about the rainforest for a school project include National Geographic's Rainforest section, Rainforest Alliance, and World Wildlife Fund's rainforest page. These websites provide a wealth of information on the importance of rainforests, conservation efforts, and wildlife within the rainforest ecosystem.

There is no mining in the rainforest. It is a registered World Heritage listed sight as of 1988. Once leases were given to mine Tin, however, if that happened many plant and animal species would be lost forever. This is the oldest rainforest on our planet and the only one to survive the Ice Age. The Daintree is older than the Amazon Rainforest, and we have learned the value of the Amazon, haven't we?

The rainforest land is actually not good soil for farming. The McDonalds company pulled out acres of rainforest to plant potatoes and the soil wasn't good for planting. Most of the life of the rainforest is in the canopy and the ground is muddy, wet, and minerals leach out.
Iron-breaker mine in Dawnstar is pretty good. Also the quicksilver in the mine across town is real nice.
