Why is pollution a major problem to the world?

International polluting is a problem because it poses many problems for the world's nations.

First, there's the space for the waste. Many countries simply don't want to accept their neighbor's trash, unless they're paid for it. That's like your next door neighbor asking you to hold onto his trash for $10 a month!

Second, there's the environmental and health damage the wastes can do. If just holding onto the trash isn't a problem and you decide to dedicate a room to holding onto the trash, good for you, but here are the drawbacks: You're not allowed to look into the trash, you can't question the trash's content, etc. However, the materials must be recycable or constructive, since that's what your neighbor insisted they were, right?

Wrong. Most of the waste dumped into foreign nations are radioactive or non-disposal; It's like paying someone to take up a corpse inflicted with the Bubonic Plague! Except you wouldn't die quickly, you would live a long life of increasingly intense pains due to poisoning and radiation.

Air pollution is caused by smoke and gasses which make the air polluted (dirty). It has a foul smell and it is unclean so anything that uses the air will inhale the smoke. This is bad because it clogs the chlorophyll making process which kills plants that help give off oxygen. Plants help to make the air clean but too much carbon dioxide can kill it. Therefore it will effect the animals we eat and it will effect us. The gasses let out of things like exhaust pipes and chimneys are then trapped in the Earth's atmosphere and cause Global warming and the greenhouse effect (normally the sun's radiation reflects of the earth but now it gets trapped). Inhaling polluted air is kind of like smoking; it'll make your lungs dirty and your general health will drop.
