While it is no more vulnerable than anywhere else, the fact that it is a small island means that proportionally the there is more coastline than for a larger island. Also many of the rocks from which it is comprised are relatively soft and the monocline running though the island sets them at an inclination which means that wave action can remove allot of material. However compare errosional rates on the island to those seen in Norfolk and you will see that relatively the island is not suffering too badly.
