Logging consists of cutting down trees, cutting them into usable lengths, and hauling them by logging truck to the sawmill.
People are constantly cutting down forests and rainforest's. Eventually they will just disappear. Trees and plants provide oxygen for us. without it we would die! So if Forests or rain forests disappear then we will too!
there were only forests in the old stone age. the people obviously lived in forests. they ate fruits , leaves, roots, raw meat etc. they lived in caves and hollows of trees. they used to get scared of lightning.( this is answered by a 6th grader [;)] )
