No, they won't. On the other hand, this phenomenon causes bad consequences for our life. When The glaciers melt, the sea level will inrease. As the result, we will lose cultivated (farming) land and living land.
Glaciers melting is big problem for Scientist nowaday. It is happening day by day on our earth. Who know the future will be if All Glaciers on our earth melt ? It can be a Disaster.
From what I've read recently, Glacier melt activity is happening all over/around the Earth; the Arctic Glaciers are receeding, the Antarctic Glaciers are receeding, the Glaciers in Glacier National Park in the US are almost gone, and the Glaciers in the Alps are receeding.
It's logical. If the earth is warming, and scientists (and our own experiences) tell us that it is, then one of the effects of a warming atmosphere is that it warms things in the atmosphere. Glaciers are exposed to the air, the air is warmer, and so the glaciers melt. Therefore, global warming is responsible for melting the world's glaciers.
The GNP, or Gross National Product, for agriculture in the United States is very low. The GNP is actually about 1.2%.
The cryosphere serves important roles in regulating global climate, sea level rise, and freshwater supply. Melting ice caps and glaciers contribute to rising sea levels, which can lead to coastal erosion and flooding. The loss of cryospheric features also impacts ecosystems and biodiversity in polar regions.
Yosemite Valley in California was formed by glaciers carving out the landscape during the last Ice Age. The Great Lakes in the Midwest were created by glaciers moving over the land and carving out deep basins which filled with water as the glaciers melted. The Finger Lakes region in New York was shaped by glaciers carving out deep, narrow lakes between steep hillsides.

moraine damming up runoff from melting continental glaciers.
They create rivers and they give us more freshwater when they melt.

i dont know :P
glaciers are just lots of ice. when this ice melts it turns into H2O (water). so glaciers give us water to drink.
Most glaciers are located in Alaska, Greenland, and Antarctica. However, glaciers can be found on every contintnent. For glacier locations in the US, there are glaciers obviously in Glacier National Park (Montana), and Denali National Park (Alaska).
Livestock, fruits and vegetables are all US Agriculture
A wide range of expected effects. These include an increased frequency of extreme weather events such asdroughts and flooding, melting of ice at the poles, retreats of glaciers, rise in sea levels due to both melting ice andthermal expansion of sea water.
The Secretary of the US Department of Agriculture is Tom Vilsack. His job is to strengthen the agricultural economy, and help to build up the rural communities.
A glacier is constructive because it can provide water for us and help us I away. In my opinion thought, I think these magnificent thins are more destructive than constructive. :)
Mount Ranier in Washington State has the most Glaciers in the Contiguos USA with a total of 26 Major Glaciers.
