It depends on the product you choose. All brass more$. Plastic less $. Find a budget and stay within it. A complete 8' x 8' remodel can be any where from $8,000 to $30,000. Depends where you live. Plumbing fixtures will cost as much as you want to spend.
The Bath-tub curve is the curve of failue rate of the equipment or a machine with respect to time.In the initial phase the failure rate is much higher and it goes on reducing with the warranty period getting over.this failure can be due to the design defect or the installation defect. During the later stage also the failure rate is higher.this is attributed to aeging or wear and tear of the machine. In between this two phases there is a very less possibility of failure.the failure rate is constant and can be because of some external factor. The curve is in the shape of the bath tub
Although phosphating was developed in the 1860s, treatment times were exceedingly long until iron filings were added to the phosphoric acid bath after 1906

That is a very broad ranging question. As for myself, and this isn't typical, I will tell you my experiences. I am 50 and have seen many presidential election years come and go past. Almost every single election year (no matter who is running) about half way through the year the stock market goes nuts, usually plummeting. I foresaw this coming and moved everything I had in stocks over into a guaranteed interest fund. Sure as heck, the market dropped big time, but I had side-stepped it and lost nothing. This time it fell much much further than usual. I waited until it looked like the worst had already taken place and gingerly moved back into a couple of equity stocks which did well in bad times. A few months later I moved deeper into the market with consumer based stocks. People need medicine, toilet tissue, food, gas, electricity, and a steady supply of those things. With this strategy since the end of November 2008 up until today my 401K has improved 33%. That is the honest truth and is impressive even when the economy is doing well. I continued to buy through payroll every two weeks even as stocks fell, buying at fire-sale prices. Some people through the baby out with the bath water and I stretched out my arms and caught some of those beautiful babies. The stocks will rebound and I will ride up with them. This line of thinking is a lot like Warren Buffett's. He is afraid while others are greedy and greedy when others are afraid. When stock prices drop and you continue to buy, you get more shares for the same money. Those shares will go back up. It may take 1, 3, or 5 years but they WILL go back up. I think long term, not short term.
