Why would you not want any covert collusion in your business
Covert discrimination is hidden or subtle discrimination. It is opposed to overt discrimination, which is open and obvious. .
Collusion between companies who are otherwise competitors in a narrow field can have the same results as a monopoly or near-monopoly: control of prices and restricting other competition. Monopolies are controlled by US law, but interlocking directorates and covert cooperation among companies is more difficult to uncover and prosecute.
Collusion is the basis for forming a monopoly. That inhibits the free market or the laws of supply and demand.

The disadvantages and advantages of collusion
covert = hidden overt = out in the open/clear
Overt collusion is where firms in an oligopoly formally set a price together, (usually high to maximize profits). This is usually done in secret because its illegal in most countries, but the main characteristic is that it is formal. I believe overt collusion is where on firm in an oligopoly reacts to a price drop in another firms from that oligopoly. For instance a competing firm drops there price from £1 to 50p, the other firms will have to otherwise they will lose profits, allthoufh this is bad for all firms because everybody loses potential profits. Am still researching this though so not 100% on overt collusion.
Overt behavior is openly displayed, covert behavior is concealed.
Covert is unknown overt is known.
its a covert behavior
Covert means hidden, covered or secret; overt means out in the open, revealed, obvious.
Overt, insert, exert.
As distinct from overt translation, in covert translation, the translator attempts to re-create an equivalent speech event.
there is a two types of behavior ,the overt and covert OVERT-things that we do outwardly expressed COVERT-that cannot be seen by our naked eyes.
Covert means under cover, secret, not in the open, etc. Overt is the opposite - it means uncovered, not secret, in the open, etc.
An overt behaviot does not have any hidden meaning. Where as in covert behavior you hide some kind of information in your actions. For example you decided to touch your nose for a yes or scratch your ear for a no. So you are sending yes or no using a covert behavior.
The covert operations will only precede the overt operations by six months.
