Demography is most certainly a key to a successful business. If you were to open a hair salon in a community, would you not first want to do your due diligence in ensuring that there are people in the area who would be interested in paying for that particular service. Most businesses that fail, fail not because they did not offer the right service, but because they did not offer that service in the right place.

You must first identify the market you are apealing to, and than locate that market to tap into it.
