No sir
We don't know yet for sure but his energy advisor, Steven Chu, has said numerous times that gas prices should be increased to help "curb global warming". In the summer of 2008, Chu stated that we needed to raise the tax on gas to get it to be the price of gas in Europe to make people drive less. The price of gas was $8 a gallon in Europe at the time. Whether Obama would attempt such a strategy is unknown. Obama has never said he wanted gas prices to be lower, even dismissing eliminating the gas tax during times of high priced gas. Obama most likely will increase gas prices, but not to the extent Chu advises. be looking for the $5.00 gallon gas this summer, the change occurring in May.
The rising gas prices will affect teenages just as the rising gas prices affect everyone.
Gas prices fell below $1 per gallon in the United States during several periods, most notably in late 2008 and early 2009 due to the economic recession and a significant drop in oil prices. Additionally, some regions experienced prices under $1 during the early 1990s and in the early 2000s. These low prices are relatively rare in recent years, as gas prices have generally risen due to various economic and geopolitical factors.
In 30 years, gas prices will be well above $8.00.
No. Gas prices go up and down with how much the barrels of gas from the oil companies cost.
Since when did the president control the gas prices? The President can't control the gas prices. The only way the gas prices will go down is when gas companies can buy the gas for less.
no.
McCain is not the president. That is not the answer he is looking for......
Have everybody you know and they know start carpooling, which would really cause gas prices to drop.
In June-July 2008, under President Bush, gas prices reached a high of $4.11 a gallon. By the time Barack Obama was elected in November, the prices had already begun to decline, such that a gallon of gas was $1.84 not long after Mr. Obama's inauguration. But this did not last. The cost of gas soon went up, and remained high for a while. However, as often happens, prices then began to decrease: depending on world supply and demand, they continued to fluctuate throughout the next several years. The same situation occurred under both Presidents Bush and Clinton, with prices trending drastically up, then coming down gradually.

It is hard to certain but it seems that gas price wil fall by a considerable amount by Christmas. The price of oil has dropped $50 a barrel in the last month. I would expect gas prices to drop by 75c to a dollar a gallon by Christmas.
