yes
The Czech Repbulic (Prague in particular) has a VERY mixed economy. I have been there twice in the past year. I absolutely loved it. Not much discrimination unless your asian, and even that is very minimal. Nobody will outright do or say anything to you. The food is very good and inexpensive and the beer is even better. I would recommend a visit near the end of august when its warmest there. Crime is at a very minimal. You can walk the streets, in what Czech's would consider the worse part of Prague, at 3am intoxicated and you won't have to worry about anybody messing with you. But to directly answer your question, YES, the Czech Republic has a very mixed economy!
Bohemia is the old name for part of what is now the Czech Republic. The currency of the Czech Republic is the Czech koruna (Czech: korun českých, abbreviation: CZK), divided into 100 haléřů.
The monetary system of the Czech Republic is decimal based, with the unit of Czech money being called the Czech Koruna (Korun is the plural form.) The Czech Republic is expected to join the European Union in 2010. The names and relative values of the coins are: * Fifty Haleru - (50/100 or 1/2 Koruna) * One Koruna -(1 Koruna) * Two Korun - (2 Korun) * Five Korun - (5 Korun) * Ten Korun - (10 Korun) * Twenty Korun - (20 Korun) * Fifty Korun - (50 Korun)
