I believe it is better to say 'politico-economic system', as a single wording or separately as 'political and economic systems'. They both mean thesame thing, and infer that there is a strong interchange between the political system (with institutions & Politicians as actors) and the economic system (with corporations & businessmen as actors). In this situation, those who have political powers control the economic system, and those who have economic power influences or control the political system.

Property rights are legal rights consisting of the exclusive authority to control how a resource is used. Political systems vary and in many parts of the world, property rights are under strict control of the government.
Women in the Progressive Era worked for economic and political equality and for social reforms, such as the right to control their earnings and to own property. They came to realize that politicians were unwilling to listen to them, so they needed win the right to vote in order to achieve the reforms they wanted.
