More people need more stuff for their survival and will do anything for it. Education will have to be provided, but the people who are BPL (below poverty line) will not be able to afford it. Moreover, they will need to maintain their health which will not be possible for them. So, these people will not be able to do anything for the economic development of the nation because they will be poor and uneducated. More people - more - more poverty - more poor It is also in the hands of the govt. , you know. If it can eradicate poverty , then great. If not , then too bad.
It does not show the discrepancies of who has the money. A country may have a large income and show that average personal income is high, but that money may be in the hands of just a few while everyone else is in poverty.
Poverty can be done away with (not minimised) by making the resources of the planet the common property of everyone and using them to meet human need. Don’t waste effort on armies and all the paraphernalia of the money system. It would, for instance, be straightforward to produce enough food for everybody.

The state of Arkansas contributed to the federal courts' decision to abolish the hands-off doctrine through the case of Pugh v. Locke in 1972. In this case, the U.S. District Court ruled that the conditions in Arkansas prisons violated the Eighth Amendment's prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment. This decision marked a shift towards greater judicial intervention in prison affairs, rejecting the hands-off approach that had previously limited federal courts' involvement in prison management. The ruling set a precedent for increased oversight of prison conditions nationwide.
Medusa, one of the Gorgons in Greek mythology, is considered mortal due to her tragic backstory. Once a beautiful maiden, she was transformed into a monster by the goddess Athena as punishment for being seduced by Poseidon in her temple. This transformation granted her the ability to turn onlookers to stone, but it also sealed her fate as a mortal being, ultimately leading to her death at the hands of the hero Perseus. Thus, her mortality is tied to her curse and the consequences of divine retribution.
