As I am studying U.S. History, I just learned that we were next to careless in airport security before Tuesday, September 11, 2001. After this atrocity we started searching passengers carry-on bags and luggage as well as use weapon detectors and metal detectors. We decided to slow down from our hurried lives and take time to prevent further problems through these actions. Obviously more has been added to these minor actions in order to have a complete and safe journey to the passenger's destination.
it changed by the land.
yes
This is the view of a sergeant at a mid-sized university security department (20 officers). The 9/11 attacks have created a lot of senseless paranoia (we have an appointed homeland security guy on our payroll who does nothing but evaluate our agency's weaknesses should we become a target of terrorists). A lot of security product businesses are quick to feed on this paranoia, as corporations and the government are shelling out big bucks to buy the latest security gadget junk. However, most actual security guards make about the same as a janitor; they're uneducated, under trained, and under equipped. As for actual police, it's a good time to get into that kind of work, if that's what you want to do, as there's a shortage nationwide of qualified recruits. (Most of their guys are in the Reserves or Guard and have been sucked into Iraq/Afghanistan.) A lot of police departments are lowering their standards to get more warm bodies in. But the work itself is hard and the hours are terrible.
In the 1950s people had pounds, shillings, pence and half pence. Now we have pounds, notes, 2 pound coins, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p. Alot has changed!
In my view, the principal change in the economy since the 1700s has been the shift from a largely agrarian, rural society to a largely urban, industrial/post-industrial society.
SECURITY!

Since I'm guessing that you're writing a paper on the subject, security (as in airport security) is represented as a single entity, so the grammar would be 'security has detained'.
There are many discussions as to whether or not NATO demonstrated the practice of collective security through theory or practice. After September 11th, 2001 NATO was called into action and stated that an attack on one is an attack on all. Since then security across the entire US has increased in many noticeable ways, such as airport security.
In airports you now have to take off your shoes and jacket, just in case someone is hiding a knife or something. You also have to take out your laptop for them to check to see if there are any explosives. Before the attack they checked 5% of bags that came through, now they check 100% of the bags. Also you have to park farther away from the airport. You also were allowed to go back to the gate to pick up or drop off people but now you have to have a boarding pass in order go to the gate. Many things have changed since the 9/11 attack.
The Department of Homeland Security.
Since 9-11, the FAA changed its rules so airplane pilots can be armed for security. The cabin door is also closed and has added security.
Yes, the society has changed since 9/11 attack but, it is very hard to talk about of what happened and many people still have feelings of what happened that day.
Yes, air + port = airport. Since both air and port are words in their own right, combining them makes a compound word.
One way immigration laws have changed since 911 was the passing of the Homeland Security Act.
This laptop is durable, since it is made with athlon when it comes to durability.
Since 2001 the United States has increased aviation security by keeping terminals free of non ticketed passengers,by putting bars on cockpit doors, by putting sky marshals on planes, and by putting federal govt. in charge of airport security.
