6. Stage 1. Reflex action. Stage 2. Coordination of reflexes & sensorimotor repetition (primary circular reaction - feedback). Stage 3. Activities to make interesting events in the environment reappear (secondary circular reaction). Stage 4. Means/ends behavior & search for absent objects. (starts to understand object permanence) Stage 5. Experimental search for new means (tertiary circular reaction) (little scientist) Stage 6. Use of imagery in insightful invention of new means & in recall of absent objects & events. (deferred imitation - full object permanence)
The main stages are expansion, prosperity, contraction and recession
the stages where the air passes through trachea and into the larynx which contains the vocal cords
The disadvantage of artificial intelligence lies in the source of it. A computer for example has "artificial intelligence". The problem is how to discern whether it has malfunctioned. The best course is therefore to have a duplicate machine as a back up to see if both computers are matching in their results.
Three stages of production are increasing marginal returns, diminishing marginal returns, and negative marginal returns.

Piaget referred to the active intellectual functioning of infants as "sensorimotor intelligence." This stage of development involves infants using their senses and motor skills to explore and interact with their environment as they learn and develop cognitive abilities.
The steps to the Sensorimotor stages are divided by months/age of the child

sensorimotor
Sensorimotor intelligence relates to the sensory and motor coordination or to the controlling nerves of an organism. It is a term often used in describing cognitive development, part of the learning process of infants.
Intelligence which utilizes both that which is experienced through the senses as well as learning that occurs kinesthetically.

If you mean Piaget, there are 4 stages of cognitive development. Sensorimotor, Preoperational, Concrete Operations, and Formal Operations. His work was in child development, and the stages that children go through when learning to deal with the world. Erickson went further and dealt with lots of crises that children all the way through adults go through... psychosocial stages. Kohlberg also went farther, but with stages of Moral development. Hope that helps...
Martin will most likely be in the sensorimotor stage of cognitive development according to Piaget's theory. This stage occurs from birth to 2 years old, where children begin to understand object permanence - the concept that objects continue to exist even when they are out of sight.
