Coming from a active duty SGT... There is NO work ... civilians are trying their hardest to find a job... unless you have special OPs schools under your belt that can benefit you in the civilian world... take your chances... stay in ... get a bonus.... On the down side depending on your MOS & how many times you get deployed... maybe you'd be better off sittin at home... who knows.

It isn't a good time in the economy in general so unless you have a situation with guaranteed employment and benefits that match your military allowances, it is probably better to stay.
It's hard to find benefits with any employer that match your benefits and with the new spouse benefits for military members, your spouse will find it much easier to find a job while you are still in.
