No. Failure and success are the two possible results of attempting a task. Pros and cons are the reasons for or against attempting it in the first place.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of factories?

The advantages are- more products gets made - more jobs The disadvantages are- some factories will polute the environmentSome pros would be the routine, if you master it then you can do it even if you close your eyes. Another would be the pay, it will be stable but gets you by, the work load can also be a pro since you have usually the same amount of work. Cons would be first, no adventure, usually routinary and nothing new. 2nd would be pay doesnt upgrade, usually when you are that low on the company, chances are you dont get promoted for a very long time.

What are the pros and cons of labor intensive?

In general, the 'pros' of Labour-intensive activities are: 1. Flexibility (humans are more flexible and adaptable than machines), and 2. Minimization of up-front capital investment (machines cost a lot). The 'cons' of Labour-intensive activities are: 1. High per-unit production costs under high-volume production 2. Variability in output quality (machines do repetitive task almost exactly the same way every time, and humans do not) 3. Poor scalability (a machine can put out a lot of widgets, humans not so much). There is nothing about "Labour Intensive" activies that is either inherently good or inherently bad. If you live in an economically well-developed country (like the UK in 2009), then unit labor costs are high and therefore a "Labour Intensive" task is likely to be expensive. If you live in a not-so-well-developed country then unit labor costs would be low, and a "Labour Intensive" task will be inexpensive. For example, if you look at high-quality buildings in London that were built prior to the year 1900, you will see that there are many beautiful architectural details such as hand-crafted trim and moldings. Labour was cheap, so Labour-intensive jobs were plentiful. If you look at buildings after the year 2000, you will see few labour-intensive details because they are too expensive.

How much makes a person wealthy?

What a question!...The answer is unique to each person you ask. Hardly anyone will give you the same response. The answer also depends on what you define as "wealth." If you mean money, this is relative, as I may be wealthy to a homeless man, but very poor to a millionaire. In addition, someone can be financially wealthy, but emotionally bankrupt. If you define wealth as "success" or "happiness" then your answer becomes even more cloudy, because success and happiness are limited to individual perspective."No man can tell whether he is rich or poor by turning to his ledger. It is the heart that makes a man rich. He is rich or poor according to what he is, not according to what he has. -Henry Ward Beecher

Globalization in long term will cause more harm than good in view of job losses?

Globalization brings the world closer in terms of culture and economy. In recent days we have witnessed both the pros and cons of globalization. It had brought opportunities in terms of better income and employment in sectors like Information Technology to countries like India, China etc, at the same time outsourcing is seen as a cause of job loss in US. Just few years back the global economic meltdown had caused recession in economic activities across the world which has been closely knitted by globalization. Despite all these I feel globalization in long term will be beneficial to the world because though it might create job loss in some particular sector in some countries, overall it brings better business opportunities, smoother international economic activities and bigger unexplored global market thereby creating more jobs than before across the world benefiting all the countries.
