Costs in the airline industry include equipment, maintenance, fuel, rent and personnel. An often overlooked expense is the cost of using airports. The airlines pass this amount on with ticket prices.
There are several potential drawbacks. If the biofuel is ethanol, then the entire fuel distribution infrastructure and fleet of vehicle engines need to be changed in order to accomodate ethanol, which is more corrosive than gasoline. Moreover, the fuel needs are so large that replacing gasoline with biofuels requires an immense amount of land, which can compete with farmland for food, particularly of corn is used as the biofuel feedstock. Biofuels made from cellulose (the cell walls of plants) reduces this issue slightly. Biofuel production from algae shows some potential but still faces a number of challenges, particularly related to land and water use.

In 1998 the motor industry was still using whale oil as their primary source of fuel. By 1999, the fuel industry caught on to something called 'fossil fuels', and thus, a revolution was born. It was about 100 rubles per gigalitre.
When using the term of the question, that being "current slide" it can be used accurately in several ways. Basically it means "down turn". So if the topic is the economy and the economy is experiencing trouble by a loss of growth, or in fact there is negative growth, the economy is in a down slide. When speaking about an industry in the economy, for example automobile sales, then it can be said that the car industry is in a down slide.
Biofuels are renewable, we can get more of them. Petrol will eventually run out.

Yes. I do not like using links from companies related to the biofuels industry, but in this case, I could not find any other information on the internet about how much sulfur dioxide is released from burning biofuels. It does get complicated, as there are all types of biofuels. The biofuels are reported as contributing much less air pollutants than diesel or gasoline, but they are not carbon (or sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide) neutral or zero emissions.
The steady increase in carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere come from our use of fossil fuels. If we were able to stop using fossil fuels, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would stop rising. Biofuels are a partial answer, because by using biofuels you are reducing our use of fossil fuels.

The islands of Hawaii have no natural petroleum deposits, thus they must rely nearly 100% on imported petroleum. The biofuels industry in Hawaii is small. Pacific Biodiesel is making biodiesel in Hawaii to be used as diesel fuel in trucks and cars. The biodiesel is made in part by using waste restaurant oil. I've included a link to Pacific Biodiesel's website. They list the gas stations that sell their biodiesel fuel. They hope to be using their product in Hawaiian Electric's power plant. Biofuels are controversial I've provided two websites, one in favor of biofuels and another one is against biofuels, at least the way it is being implemented in Hawaii.
Fossil fuel may be used in the production of biofuels.
From plant matter like sugar cane and others and turned into fuel using fossil fuels.
No, but they can get you there, by using partner airlines and / or affiliates, Codeshares etc.
You can find the price of flights using Cubana Airlines using websites such as Expedia, One Travel, and Bravo Fly. You can also find prices on the official Cubana Airlines website.
There are four main airlines currently using the Airbus A380, which is the largest passenger airliner in the world. These airlines are Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Qantas, and Lufthansa.
Their sustainability right now is somewhat questionable, but as new research improves the processes to grow and refine them, they will be someday.
