A tube well is a device that extracts water from underground using electricity diesel or petrol .
No
Disadvantage of a tube well: -It is not possible where water-table is low. -If the groundwater is brackish then irrigation is not possible.
the spread of electricity helped farmers in palampur to run tubewells ,pumps set for irrigation of field
There are several irrigation methods-Sprinkler irrigationDrip IrrigationIrrigation through tubewells and motors etc.

There is no exact figure that can represent the distance between two tubewells. It depends upon the underground formation if two tubewells drilled at a distance of 100ft. and both sharing the same low water bearing aquifer then the discharge of one will effect the discharge of the other well. Distance should be as far as it could be, atleast more then 400ft. (minimum side) Farhan
I don't have an answer for this question..
The difference between a well and tubewell are the amounts of water they supply. Wells can supply any amount to certain locations like crops. Tubewells involve pumping ground water in specifically measured amounts.

Between 1960 and 1970 about 16000 tube wells were installed each year. This large increase in the demand for tube wells led to the growth of the small scale engineering industry. by adeel ahmed prep 1 the city school
advantageous1.a large amount of under ground water is available2.tube wells are deep they are use dfull in dry period or season3.these can be irrigated a larger area and the water is not pollutted4.large amount of water can be pulled in short while5.no manual labour is required6.tube well can be used only when required and the amount can be regulate
