The concepts that should be remembered to understand why economics as a field of study exists include production, demand and supply, economic system, the role of the government, and business cycles.
Economics seeks to solve the scarcity problem, which exists because resources are limited whereas needs and wants are unlimited.
Exists only i n economics textbooks, not the real world. the state always intervenes in favour of the capitalist class.
Under the broadest meaning, scarcity would mean that there are limits to our resources on this planet. A resource or a commodity that exists as a limited quantity would be said to be scarce.
your question is backwards. as a field of knowledge, economics started out as a type of sociology (or possibly was the original term for what we now call sociology). and there is such a thing as a liberal study of economics still. and economics is a study of human behavior but with advanced capitalism this behavior has left human's hands so the study sort of exists on its own as a study of a man-made but self-sufficient abstract force. hope that helps :)
because if wal-mart did not exist many people would die of starvation due to the fact that they are to stupid to understand that there are other places that you can drag your drunk self to buy every day goods, that is why wal-mart exists or it exists because it keeps the flying pie monster at bay with the money they get
when designing a structure, its important to utilize the land as it exists. Also, you must understand the best ingress and egress to the property when deciding how the building will be oriented. Lastly, it might be necessary to design the shape of the building around a necessary landscape element such as roads, sidewalks, existing trees, ect. It is similar to engineering concepts...architects don't need to be experts in engineering or landscapes, but they certainly need to understand the concepts when dealing with professionals in those areas.
Leaders must understand the broader issues of conflict and their changing nature.

If I understand correctly, that feature no longer exists on the recent generation RAV4.
Certainly not for those enslaved. It should be remembered that slavery still exists today It made economic sense for those that enslaved people. Morally it was and remains indefensible.

Both are unproven concepts. IF… a god exists - a creator of the universe, as in the Christian concept… AND IF… life exists on other planets THEN… the creator God is the only causal explanation for it. And, it is possibly that extraterrestrial life might exist without the necessity of a creator God being involved in its inception.
A language barrier exists when two or more people do not speak or understand a common language.
