to divide the big market in to small company is known as segmentation. positioning is that which we do the mind of customer or to make the unique thing which attract the customer. to make the new product and focus the particular generation for sale is known as targeting of employess requirement. we will also design or implement the present market in such a way tht it will make benificial for upcoming generation.

What is the difference between SEZ and STP?

1. SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY PARK (STP) ONLY CONCENTRATES ON SOFTWARE UNITS AND DEV. OF SUCH UNITS IN SOFTWARE IND. SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE IS NOT RESTRICTED TO ANY PARTICULAR IND. OR UNIT . 2. Special Economic Zone:SEZ is a geographical region that has economic laws that are more liberal than a country's typical economic laws.. STP is the process for developing marketing strategy through segmenting the market, targeting a segment and then positioning the product or brand.

Difference between demand paging and demand segmentation?

Demand paging and Demand segmentation are both ways to implement the" virtual memory scheme" to enhance the multitasking abilities of the OS with respect to the 2 the memory management schemes : paging and segmentation. Where demand paging means, bringing a fixed-sized block of memory, known as a frame, from the backing store to the main memory, the demand segmentation is the same for a whole big segment of data, which might have any size(not predefined, not pre-known to OS).! Page demanding happens when an application requests for a page that does not exist on the main memory, but is illusioned to be there by the virtual memory .In this case, an unavoidable system call "trap" demands for this page to be fetched from the backing store to be stored in one of the free memory locations in the memory (if possible) OR replace it with any other page in it according to the Page replacement algorithm being used. Now, since pages are fixed-sized blocks of memory, then the case of Page replacement is easy since it is known that 1 page (fixed size memory-block) needs to be replaced for this page to be accommodated. But in case of segments, since they are of variable sizes (maybe larger (often) or smaller than a general page-size), it is difficult to create a space for it in the main memory. The Segment replacement algorithm in that case would be a bit cumbersome and less efficient to optimally create an appropriate-sized memory block for this segment to be fetched from the backing store into the main memory. Also, a problem (very low probability) might occur where the segment size is too large for the physical memory to accommodate.

What does segments mean?

A segment or marketing segment in economics is defined as a group of people that share one of several characteristics. After fully understanding the needs and lifestyles of these segments, businesses can then decide what their target market will be.

What is contenuous allocation?

Contiguous allocation is a memory management technique where a single block of memory is allocated to a process in a single, continuous segment. This means that all of the process's data and instructions are stored in adjacent memory addresses, which can enhance access speed due to spatial locality. However, it can lead to fragmentation, where free memory is split into small, non-contiguous blocks, making it difficult to allocate larger segments for new processes. This method is often contrasted with paging or segmentation, which allow for non-contiguous memory allocation.

Explain the difference between the terms segmentation and targeting?

When you decide on which criteria to segment the market i.e. demographic, physographic, geographic etc ,segmentation phase is over. On analyzing the segmented market, when you decide which segment to actually offer you product/service ,you have finished targeting. manishmakhija69@gmail.com for comments

Exactly what is the relationship between market segmentation target marketing and positioning What damage will be done to a companys target marketing and positioning efforts if markets are incorrectly?

Segmentation, target marketing, and positioning all work together and as Walker (2011) describes, need to be reviewed and analyzed by a firm to make sure they are all addressed to best compete in the marketplace. They are similar in that they are required to be in place for a company to successfully compete in the marketplace. They are different as they perform different function. Segmentation groups customers with similar characteristics. The grouping of the customers needs to be meaningful and the groupings are called segments. The segmentation definition process can be performed by reviewing: product, price, promotion, and/or place; specifying segmentation criteria; and determining the segment size and potential. The other segments attributes include demographics, geographic, and a hybrid or geodemographic segmentation. Targeting evaluates the segments attractiveness to the operating business to help make a determination of if and how a segment will be marketed by the business. Brand positioning deals with making the business products attractive to the segment determined by the business. The business needs to brand position the products specifically enticing to the segment selected through the targeting efforts of the business.

What is difference of market segment and market segmentation?

Market segment is a market that has been divided into a channel group already. Segmentation is the process of identifying those market traits and dividing that market into a segment.

How does memory segmentation increase processors speed?

The segmentation function maintains a segment table that includes physical addresses of the segment, size, and other data. Segmentation speeds up a computer's information retrieval by assigning related data into a “segment table” between the CPU and the physical memory.

what is market segment?

Market segmentation is a way of aggregating prospective buyers into groups or segments, based on demographics, geography, behavior, or psychographic factors, in order to better understand and market to them.

What is hybrid segmentation of market?

segmentation is a creative prcess. marketers normally segment markets by combining several segmentation variables rather than relaying on a single segmentation base. THERE ARE 4 METHODS OF HYBRID SEGMENTATION * Value and Life Style (VALS) * psychographic-demographic segmentation * geo-demographic segmentation * yankelovich's mind base segmentation

What is the pattern of repeated segmentation called?

The pattern of repeated segmentation is called segmentation fault or segfault. This occurs when a program tries to access a memory segment that it doesn't have permission to access, leading to a segmentation violation error.
