The people who were on Malcolm Xs side all wanted to get rid of there christianic names because they thought that being a christian was for white Americans and not for them as they decided that Islm was there culture to follow. They all wanted to be a family and they wanted to be free from the names there great ancerstores had been given by there land owners so they all changed their last name to X and they became one community as they belived that they were free by name.
Why do Muslims show dedication?
Islam requires unconditional surrender to the Will of Almighty God. A Muslim must show dedication to his duties that Almighty Allah has assigned to him. Being loyal to Him, obeying His commands without showing a lightest unwillingness is considered hypocrisy in Islm. Being truthful, just, fair, sacrificing, straightforward, caring for all human beings are the basic traits of a true Muslim. Being fair and squire in his dealings with humans irrespective of their caste, creed, color, religion is obligatory on a true Muslim. A Muslim is bound to fulfil his promise in all cases. He is dedicated as per command of Almighty Allah.
Comparison between Hinduism and islam?
Though in practice we may find many differences in the religions (Islm and Hindu) but they are similar in many ways. The confluence of the philosophies of the two religions can be found in Sufism. Din-E-Illahi the religion started by Akbar The Great (India) was also based on the same principles.To cite an example: Allah o Akbar is the most common phrase of prayer or Namaz in Islam and the word Om also indicates towards it; that God you are the greatest , and so great that you can not be described.In fact Practicing Muslim religion is form of practicing Hinduism philosophy of Adveta meaning non existence of second; or nothing is there but one God.Since God in totality cannot be described then why to make an idol for him or any form for that matter.
