Well i always find flag stones can vary in price but being a stone mason myself i could give you a resonably good price and i have workshops all over the country.
I would say in my experience they can cost anything from £10 to £100 pounds however for more exquisit stone prices can be higher that i have previously stated.
the price also depends of the thickness of the stone too and of corse how big you would like it to be. I find that 50 mm flag stones often cost around abouts £20.
I must advise you though not to be drawn in to the many scheming cowboys that there are on the flag stone market today. i leave you with one piece of advice. ALWAYS do your homework about who you want to by flag stones off.
i hope this account has helped you

Average Variable Cost = Total Variable Cost/ Quantity Average Cost = Average Fixed Cost + Average Variable Cost Average Cost = Total Cost/Quantity
When the marginal cost is below the average total costs or the average variable costs, then the AC would be declining. When marginal cost is above the average cost then the average cost would be increasing. Therefore the marginal cost should intersect with the average cost at the lowest point in order to pull the average cost upwards.
average cost?
Average cost is minimized when marginal cost equals average cost. This occurs at the output level where the cost of producing one additional unit (marginal cost) is equal to the average cost of all units produced. At this point, producing additional units would either increase or decrease the average cost, indicating that the minimum average cost has been reached.
the average variable cost curve and average cost curve are u- shaped because of the law of variable proportions.

$18. That should include labour and materials. If it's a lot less then ask if it includes materials. If it does include materials their is something wrong and he's is cutting corners some where to save money.
No, flagstone is a type of sedimentary rock, but it is not a clastic sedimentary rock. Flagstone is generally composed of layers of compacted and cemented material like sandstone or limestone, and often used for landscaping or as a building material.
Flagstone can be found at landscaping supply stores, home improvement stores, or specialty stone suppliers. You can also check online marketplaces or contact local quarries that specialize in natural stone products.

Yes, flagstone can be used for a fire pit as long as it is a heat-resistant material like sandstone or quartzite. It's important to ensure the flagstone is at least 2 inches thick to withstand the heat from the fire and to leave enough room for expansion joints to prevent cracking. A concrete base underneath the flagstone can also help with fire pit durability.
We concluded a few days ago after some conversation between my Guatemalan helpers(trying to translate the word to Spanish ), the home owner and myself that the word "Flagstone" could simply be a perversion the words "Flat stone". This makes alot of sense....
Examples of naturally occurring flagstone are Arizona flagstone, quarried from the Coconino and Prescott National Forests, and Pennsylvania Bluestone, found only in northeastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, and southern New York. These rocks are flat and often used as walkway and paving stones.
