Whether a country is developing or developed
The level of economic development in a country has the largest impact on how much of the general population is connected to the internet. Countries with higher income levels tend to have greater internet penetration rates due to factors such as infrastructure development, affordability of technology, and access to education.
The largest difference between a developed and developing country is the value of productive economic activity as expressed in its standard of living. A key to modern development is the use of technology by the people. A developed country has more advanced technology. One needs to examine the Standard of Living to determine whether a country is developed or developing. This would be determined by looking at the Life Expectancy, Literacy Rate, and Gross Domestic Product per capita. The United Nations has created a statistic called the Human Development Index (HDI) which indicates a country's level of development.
Developed Countries

Some countries located in a region where some of the world's largest civilizations developed include Italy, Greece, Syria, Israel, Iraq, Egypt, India, China, Mexico, and Chile.
Russia is developed and still developing. As Russia is such a big country which has such a huge population, it means that is a bit unfair to put it against other countries because, it is so much bigger. This means that the numbers are so much lower and that smaller countries seem more developed than Russia. But I would say Russia is more developed than undeveloped.
like the USA, Japan is a developed or post industrial country
