Mainly poverty because if one promotes the survival of only the best people then no one is taking care of those who cannot support themselves. Depression and recession and poverty are the main results of a pure Laissez-faire capitalist system including the aspects of social darwinism. it also allows those that do succeed to look down upon those that do not, and to feel superior, as if they deserve to be poor because that's just nature
