There's no such coin. The U.S. never made any coins out of pure silver because they'd wear out almost immediately. By 1968 dimes and quarters were made of copper-nickel and halves were only 40% silver.

The coin is a Franklin half dollar (1948-1963) and is common. If the coin shows any wear, value is about $10.00 just for the silver.
Value depends on if it's a Walking Liberty half dollar or a Monroe Doctrine half dollar, both are dated 1923 and both have "S" mintmarks.
There was no silver dollar in the US made in 1957. It might be a half dollar. These are usually worth about $10-15.
