Morgan dollars were minted from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921.

1903 Morgans were made at Philadelphia, New Orleans and San Francisco mints, denoted by mintmarks "O" for New Orleans and "S" for San Fran on the reverse below the wreath, no mintmark indicates the coin was minted in Philly. A 1903 minted in Philadelphia is valued between $40 and $300. A 1903-O is worth between $275 and $820. A 1903-S is valued between $65 and $10,000. As with all coins the prices increase exponentially when in spectacular condition, but few coins can make the standard for this price tags. Your coin, if a 1903 is probably between $60-$100, a 1903-O between $400-$500, a 1903-S between $250-$450. However you may have an extraordinary piece, so, as always, your best bet is to show the coin to a coin dealer or collector, chances are there is a coin shop not too far away.
