I bought mine for 190 Canadian dollars yesterday. Nov 6th, 2008
A little over 100 bucks. That amount may or may not have been true at the time of its posting. The complete story is that pure silver (.999 fine) is traded daily and its value changes just like any other commodity. Today, 8-20-2009, silver is at $13.88 a troy ounce, making the value of a 10 troy ounce Engelhard silver bar today worth about $139. That value was most assuredly change in the future.
The value of a 10 oz Engelhard silver bar is primarily determined by the current market price of silver, which fluctuates daily. As of late 2023, the price of silver is typically around $25 to $30 per ounce, making the intrinsic value of the bar between $250 and $300. However, Engelhard bars are often considered collectible, which may add a premium to their value. It's best to check current market conditions and local dealers for the most accurate pricing.
As of 10-18-11 the spot price of silver is $30.76 per ounce, so the value is about $307.60
The current value of 10 euros is $14.30
250,000
The value changes as market prices fluctuate. As of 20 October 2012, silver is worth $32.06/oz, so a 10 oz. silver bar is worth $320.60.

Ten Troy Ounces would be my guess, but it could be 10 grams. Doesn't it say what the unit of weight is? The .999 is the purity.
Silver prices change constantly. Right now I can buy a 10 oz bar from a major refiner for $313.80, sell them one of their own bars for $301.10, or a bar from another refiner for $295.90. These prices may be different in the morning and I would have to pay shipping charges both ways.

The value of silver varies from one minute to the next, but recently it has stayed around $13.50 per troy ounce, so expect a dealer to buy a single bar or round for about $10 or sell one for $16.
1 troy oz of 24k gold is 31.5 grams and the price changes daily with the gold spot rate. Today its value is rougly $1400
With silver trading at about $13.50 an ounce, a dealer will pay about $10 for a single bar or round or sell one for about $15-$16.

1.3 MPa (megapascals) is equivalent to 13 bar. This conversion is based on the fact that 1 MPa is equal to 10 bar. Therefore, to convert from MPa to bar, you simply multiply the value in MPa by 10.
