Light travels through, but the substance is not clear.
Translucent
Pure alcohol is transparent, pretty much like water.
TRANSCULENT and transparent materials ...............................................................Gho$t
Blank piece of paper,a few fabrics and stuff you can see threw not very clearly but you can see it
We would not have light Because when light reflects transparent and transculent it goes through but opaque doesnt
its opaque, its not transperent because you cant see the inside of it. transculent isn't either because it creates shadow.
A translucent object is one that allows some light to pass through it, but scatters the light in such a way that objects on the other side are not clearly visible. Examples include frosted glass or wax paper.
Light waves can travel through various materials, including air, water, glass, and certain types of transparent plastics. These materials allow the light waves to pass through due to their structure, which allows the waves to be transmitted rather than absorbed or reflected.
Translucent material is a type of substance that allows light to pass through but diffuses it in such a way that objects on the other side cannot be clearly seen. This property contrasts with transparent materials, which allow for clear visibility, and opaque materials, which block light entirely. Common examples of translucent materials include frosted glass, certain plastics, and thin fabrics. These materials are often used in applications where privacy or soft lighting is desired while still permitting some light to enter.
