They manage to fish because of the cold climate and low land regions ... hope i helped :D

Tundra type climate. There are no mountains to prevent the arctic air currents from flowing down over the land.
First, the company would be forced to violate the Antarctic Treaty, which prohibits commercial enterprises south of 60 degrees S. Companies have already proved the un-economic viability for drilling in polar environments: Shell Oil spent US$7,000,000,000 (billion) drilling in the Arctic and abandoned those efforts based on the lack of profit in this enterprise. From the Guardian: "Shell has spent over $7bn (£4.6bn) on its failed hunt for oil which critics said could only endanger one of the world's last pristine environments and produce expensive hydrocarbons that were no longer needed." The Shell exploration took place in the Chukchi Sea -- 69 degrees N, which means that drilling south of 60 degrees S could make even less sense, economically. (Antarctica is about 30 degrees F colder than the Arctic.) In summary, whatever the cost, it would make no sense to drill for oil in Antarctica.
Yes, narwhals are real. They are medium-sized whales known for their long, spiral tusks, which are actually elongated teeth. Narwhals are found primarily in Arctic waters and are often referred to as the "unicorns of the sea" due to their distinctive appearance. These marine mammals are adapted to life in icy environments and play a significant role in their ecosystem.
Ideally a population at its carrying capacity is stable, there is enough for all to survive. The system is usually slightly underdamped and the population will vary between just over its carrying capacity where some individuals suffer and under its capacity where there is a surplus. If the system is severely under damped there are extreme swings in the population. A typical example is the relation between Arctic hares and foxes.

The Hudson Bay lowlands are characterized by flat, swampy terrain with numerous lakes and rivers in the Hudson Bay region. The Arctic lowlands are flat, treeless expanses found in the northernmost parts of Canada, with permafrost underlying the soil. Both regions have a cold climate and limited vegetation due to their high latitudes.
