But they will lose their forest resources and they will have to give up shifting cultivation, the technique that they learn from their ancestors will be lost and forgotten.
It is meant to be a lesson of sorts. Basically, you don't know the value of something until you don't have it anymore. Thus, a penny, something most people consider to be rubbish or of little monetary value, can be a lot of you don't have any money. This saying can be applied to all aspects of life, not just a literal penny.
School is all about learning different things that will benefit you in the future. It will help in daily life, your interests, and your chosen career. If you have a good education, you can get a good job. In school you learn many different things- an array from mathematics to physics to history to english- and everything in between.
It encourages children to run, play, and be active. If they learn exercise and and being physically fit it a good thing that can be fun then maybe it will create a healthier generation. Maybe increase the average life expectancy for humans.
