Gas prices are different at different gas stations based on location. It also depends on supply and demand. But mostly the differences station by station in the same area are because of the prices of the location its at. The more prime the location, the more costly the gas is.

Because of the amount of oilavailable around that area. If it's ,for example, near a huge amount of oil, the price could be cheaper than near areas where there are no oil refineries
It also may depend on the gas station's view on what they want to price their oil.

When supplies are low, prices go up. At these times, suppliers don't want to sell so fast that they run out and can't replenish their own supply.

When supplies are high, prices go down because individual suppliers are competing with each other.
