the ratio of workers to retirees will be low, which will lower the income tax base from which to fund Social Security
Baby Boomers will retire at a faster rate than the younger generation of Americans will be able to work and put some money into the social security system.
Because the availability of Americans to pay their share in the Social Security Program will decrease while the population of Americans who have already paid their share to the Social Security Program and now benefit from the program will increases.
In other words: There might be more "need" and less who are able to "help" in the years to come.

Inflation went down due to spending cuts, but unemployment was still a problem.
Controlling someone's money is a way of controlling that person. There are some woman who have spending problems - as bad as any gambling or drinking problem. For these women I have no sympathy; they need to be controlled.

Fraud
The government solves problems by not solving them. In addition to not solving problems; when a problem occurs, the government creates a committee and wastes countless amounts of money on surveys. The surveys conclude that yes there is a problem and the problem is that they spent their payroll budget on surveys and there is no money to fix the problem.
the government can use its powers to increase levels of spending by consumers, businesses, and the government itself and by lowering taxes or giving tax incentives
Some ideas are . . . Make a steady 18% task for everyone Cut 18% spending (budget) from the Government
They will borrow it by issuance of Treasury Bonds (T-Bonds). The irony is that the economic problem was created by debt fuelled spending and the government's solution......debt fuelled spending.
Yes, the term means that something has the potential to become a problem. The word 'potential' can be a noun or an adjective. In this term, the word 'potential' is an adjective describing the noun 'problem'.
Ahhh . . . exactly what potential problem?
The big problem is that the people who want the money spent on them are not the ones who will benefit if taxes are reduced. Likewise, the people who will have to pay more taxes will receive absolutely no benefits from the government if their taxes go up. So while one group of people benefits from increased government spending, the group that pays higher taxes does not.
