If your income tax refund was direct deposited, your stimulus check will also be direct deposited.
No
That depends. First, you have to be qualified. Second, your return has to have been processed by April 15. If both are true, the IRS can't do anything until it's been four weeks since the check was mailed. If you were expecting a direct deposit, it will be converted to a check if you had a refund loan or had fees deducted from the refund.
No. It will be held by the IRS and applied to your tax bill. So you won't get a check in the mail or deposited into your account, but you will get a credit towards your back taxes. The same is true if the IRS is currently keeping your refund through the Treasury Offset Program for student loans, child support, etc.
No, the rebate check is an advance payment of a 2008 tax credit. The money is actually a portion of the refund or payment applied to the taxes you will file in 2009. Therefore as it is a refund check it is not taxable income.
If you have made no effort to replace a lost 2009 Tax Refund check, I would guess you are out of luck.
Don't worry. If you had your refund direct deposited to your account, your refund will be direct deposited.
Only if you didn't have a refund anticipation loan or had any fees deducted from your refund. If either was the case, you'd be getting a check instead.
Yes, you can. You can have your refund deposited though the H&R Block website when you file online, or in person. Explore other sites as well, which also may offer direct deposit.
Unless the is a problem it should take 7-10 days for your refund.
If they are unable to direct deposit it, they will mail you a check.
The quickest way to get your tax refund is eFile and then have it direct deposited into your bank account. Visit: http://www.irs.gov/efile/ for more information on how to efile. Good luck!
Yes. Where ever that refund went is where your stimulus payment. I would never recommend HR Block because the "fee you to death" and leave you without a refund. Your refund is yours not HR block's!!!! Yes it will. The IRS is going by the direct deposit lines, so if you have a card in that spot then that is where it is going. If you had a savings account number it would go there. If you had no information in that direct deposit section you would be mailed the check. So now you have to pay more fees on that stupid HR block card. I would recommend you don't do that next year.
Efile and direct deposit....should take from 5-7 days....can tk up to 10 tho.

Assuming there are no problems with your return, if you select to have your refund direct deposited, it would be under a month -- no guarantees. Add two or three weeks if you want a paper check sent to you.
A tax refund check from the US government comes by first class mail. If you have a bank account and want the money deposited more quickly, opt for direct deposit.
There are no set dates like the IRS has but I can tell you from experience it's typically there before the Federal Return.
