Advantages and disadvantages of using ICT in school?

The advantages become more apparent as you get further into school, for instance, spreadsheets will help you if your job has anything to do with money, You also learn about websites, which will help you promote if yourself if you get into your own business or want to do something more directly involved with websites (e.g. web design). Soon they teach you about how to make adverts which is good if you want to... well, make an advert. Sooner or later they should also teach you about 3D modelling which would be brilliant if you want to get into Video Games or the movie industry.

The disadvantages however are that if you end up working as someone who doesn't have anything to do with computers then you are just wasting your time.

Students can easily access information online. Unfortunately, some students plagiarize their assignments as they can easily copy content. The quality of research is declining as students opt to use blog sites and other sites that do not give credible information instead of text books.

The system sometimes crashes and doesn't work when needed too.

People rely on clipart and images instead of using the drawing skills.

People rely on spell check and grammar check instead of using dictionaries and their general knowledge.
